Hello and welcome...
...to my new web site, and please let me apologize for its long absence. This will be an ongoing project and my goal is to regularly update and improve it. I'll be adding more information, pictures, videos and articles so please come back often.
As you may know, over the last 40-odd years I've had many interesting and exciting experiences with a variety of reptiles (and other animals), but through it all my passion has and always will be pythons. While these incredible snakes have of course been my business, it is my intention to convey here how much more to me they are than that. They are my passion. They are my life!

As a kid I'd always dreamed of having a giant tortoise. But these were zoo animals, and I resigned myself to the fact that a kid in Kansas would have to live out his life without one of these fantastic animals. In 1981 I got a pricelist in the mail from the Florida based reptile supplier, The Shed. Aldabra tortoise babies $1000! I'd never paid nearly that much for an animal before but this was to be the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. I bought it.
Fast forward 20 years or so. Working with my friends at the Tulsa Zoo the tortoise, a female, now mature, began breeding and laying eggs. This is a rarity outside the region where the species is native. My girl is the most productive captive tortoise of her species in Europe and the Americas, sometimes lays over 60 eggs per year! This year's babies are hatching now and are available for $2000 each.
